Evergreen State Bank
Janesville, WI
This branch is located within close proximity to a residential community. The building was designed such that it would incorporate residential elements and blend well into the surrounding area while maintaining unique architectural appeal. The design incorporated full perimeter windows and a large central skylight to allow natural light to extend into all of the interior spaces. The interior of the bank has a teller area designed in a radial pattern and a lowered ceiling soffit which accents the curve. A partial basement was designed which provided space for the mechanical room as well as a storm refuge. Evergreen State Bank was eager to establish business in their new community, so our site design included the incorporation of a temporary bank which would be operational during the construction of their permanent facility.
Phillips, Milewski & Associates provided architectural, civil and structural design services for this project. We also coordinated mechanical and electrical consultants.
Town Bank
Elm Grove, WI
Town Bank’s growth in Southeastern Wisconsin continues with this 19,500 square foot branch in Elm Grove, which has been recently constructed. Situated in the historic downtown area, the building warranted a historic appearance.
The brick façade and classic, double hung windows at the second floor level delivers on that look. Monumental stone columns at the entrances accent the brick to give an “old-time” bank feel, and the slate style shingles complement the brick exterior.
Although the exterior of the bank is being designed to meet the history of the downtown Elm Grove area, the interior is far from historic. Our engineers chose pre-cast concrete plank for the floor system to maximize the floor-to-floor heights, and the open web steel joist roof framing and metal truss mansards provide a hidden area on the roof for mechanical equipment. The full basement provides a community room for public use.
Phillips, Milewski & Associates provided architectural and structural designs for this project. We also coordinated all of the consultants (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.) to provide a complete design package to our client.
Tri City National Bank
South Milwaukee, WI
A recent stand-alone Tri City National Bank branch is located in downtown South Milwaukee on an ”Urban Infill” site created through the demolition of several existing structures. The brick façade and abundant windows make it a very attractive place to work and conduct business while fitting in contextually with South Milwaukee’s downtown streetscape.
